My Mission

Magic is an immersive game that requires a lot of preparation to play. Whether it's the pursuit of acquiring cards or simply putting together a deck with the ones you own, these tasks can be daunting. I hope to help the community overcome these obstacles so we can just spend more time having fun. Among other things, here is a short list of what I hope to provide the community:

• Help you craft a sustainable play experience

• Encourage you to think about the game in new ways

• Give you tools to incorporate more Magic in your life

• Digest goings-on in the Magic community

• Highlight different ways to play Magic

Why I Do It

Magic has played an enormous role in my life, but as I grow older I find myself with less and less opportunities to play it. Even worse, I’ve moved away from the community I had been so heavily involved in so it’s hard to even find someone to talk about Magic with. Magic: the Everything serves as my way to foster a community, unleash my thoughts, and hopefully help some people along the way.

My name is Perry Stewart and I have been obsessed with Magic for about 10 years. While I’ve always liked playing, most of my joy has come from thinking about the game. Throughout the day my subconscious bombards me with card interactions, deck building theory, organized play policy, and the quirks of playing Magic.

My passion for Magic has taken me around the country and introduced me to some of my best friends and favorite strangers. My experience with all of these Magic players has given me an understanding and appreciation for all the different reasons we play this wonderful game. With that, I am always thinking about different ways Magic can change for the better as it continues to grow with every new player who discovers the best game in the world.
